Like wildfires in a previously calm forest.

Like maroon sketches upon your wrist.

For pain, or are they a way to

Accustom yourself to the way you may already feel?

Are maroon sketches considered inspiration

For happiness;

A way out of the agony you are too accustomed to?

Are maroon sketches considered inspiration

For numbness,

A mute button for the emotions you can’t accustom to?

The maroon sketches upon my wrist are invisible,

For I have the strength to resist inspiration,

Even if it starts the strongest wildfire in my heart.
