The Waters of an Alien World

Through the waters I swim
No land in sight.
The creatures they surround me
Their luminescent glow
Lighting my way.
Fish
Rays
Predators
Prey
I raise these creatures
Their beauty is stupefying.
Giants roam the waters
Ancient creatures
From a time long ago.
Through caves I venture
Danger lurking around every curve.
I have seen alien structures
To study a disease.
They all succumbed.
I can feel it inside me
I can see it on my skin.
Something speaks to me
It's in my head.
