Chalkboard White
Quite a simple sight
With a story much long told
Looking at the blank space
Trying to act bold
A simple turn back at the class
A single drop of sweat
And then you write
It's quite a fright
No wonder you were upset
So then you sit back in your seat
The face: still quite warm
Looking back at your handiwork
Your emotions taking hold
But go, continue, watch the board
Try with all your might
