Sensation swelling like a choir crescendo
Fingertips trembling, dressed up, ready to go

We march through mountains and we look to the sun
We stretch out our sword blades, now fearful of none
With all of their doubting, our might only grows
And becomes the terror of all of our foes

The battle’s beginning
The battle’s begun
Our cavalry charges
The war will be won

It sweeps through the country, it sweeps all the others
Sweeping the hearts of all my sisters and brothers
Fearlessly fighting behind the front lines
You can come now and meet us if you see the signs

The battle’s beginning
The battle’s begun
For our revolution,
This war shall be won!

And all the cannons sounding through the long night
Cease fire when the sun creeps up and shines with it’s light
Sensation swells up like a blown up red balloon
All throughout the grasslands, while soldiers join in tune

The battle is raging
The battle goes on
You can hear the trumpets
We’ll attack at next dawn!

We fight for our country, we fight for the others
We fight for the freedom of our sisters and brothers
Defending all of our country's state lines
Even if our blood spills like ancient red wine

The battle’s still raging
The battle goes on
We will still keep fighting
Till’ the last redcoat’s gone!

The battle has stopped now
The battle is done
The Brits wave a white flag
The war’s finally won!

Actually, the best life you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures....

I really like you poem. It's so simple and lucid, yet so deep. Plus that it rhymes, it's an added charm.
