An abandoned cobweb in the corner of a barn
The clink of knitting needles, a sweater of yarn
Winter is coming around the bend
Melting snow on the ground
The sun peeking out from behind a cloud
Winter is coming to an end

Yellow pollen that makes you sneeze
Bright green grass that stains your knees
Spring is coming around the bend
Sun baked petals fall off their stems
Mothers wean their chicks on tree limbs
Spring is coming to an end

The Earth waking up at the crack of dawn
A family of deer on a freshly cut lawn
Summer is coming around the bend
The rolling hills, dead and dry
The thought of it, wants to make you cry
Summer is coming to an end

The crunch crunch leaves go from green to brown
You can play in a pile of them on the ground
Fall is coming around the bend
The warmth of the sun starts to fade away
But you won’t let it make your world eerie and gray
Fall is coming to an end

These are the seasons that come and go
These are the seasons that help us grow
These are the seasons that take a part
In mending the losses in our heart
