Favorite Quote:
Scenery is nothing more than poetry.
Love is nothing more than chemicals.
'Cause fairy tales are just scribbled pages filled with happy endings and little white lies.
One person can make a difference, but a crowd can make a change.

Her stormy eyes,
And his desire to drown.
All brought on by lies,
And rumors that surround.
She loved him,
But she would never tell.
'Cause he was her only sin,
The puzzle piece that fit well.
He showed up one night,
Throwing pebbles at her window.
Bought two tickets for a flight,
Except she couldn't go.
Her parents turned on the porch lamp,
Told him, "Don't ever again contact our daughter."
He clutched his heart as he felt it cramp,
Realizing he just lost his forever.
Days went by as she checked her phone,
Waiting and praying for a sign.
Hoping one day he'd stop by her home,
To drop one of his famous poetic lines.
Little did she know,
He boarded that plane.
She wasn't aware he was forced to go,
Left without a goodbye, he felt a shame.
She's stuck in Maryland,
With no info on his location.
Thinking of when he gripped her hand,
As she breathes in devastation.
He thinks of her halfway across the world,
Tokyo bound, picture on his screen.
Forced to give up his angel, his special girl,
The sweetheart who with him made the perfect team.
He pulls up her number,
Hovers his finger above the button to call.
Then he begins to remember,
He was the reason for their fall.
She's thinking about him,
Not knowing the different time zone.
Her heart went from bright to dim,
She can't handle being alone.
Upset at this, she goes for a walk in the rain,
Contemplating the memories of them.
Dying slowly from the quiet pain,
Wondering if she was the problem.
Her parents never spoke about,
The night they sent him away.
So now she's full of doubt,
And he's living a different day.
Then came a twist,
To this tragedy of a story.
As she fantasizes his kiss,
He grabs a seat back to the city.
She's present in school,
Sitting in class.
Trying to play it cool,
And let this love pass.
Until her phone gives a vibrate,
And she asks to be excused.
She reads the message at a slow rate,
Which lights up her brain like a fuse.
He sent her a text,
To peek out the window.
What happened next,
Made her eyes glow.
As she turned around,
There he stood.
Flesh and blood back in town,
Tears fell from her like they should.
Her phone lit up one last time,
A message from him and she read it aloud.
He heard her sweet voice chime,
"You are all I think about."
She looked at him; he looked at her,
Time stood completely still.
He said, "We swore on forever,"
And she mouthed back, "I always will."
He walked away,
And she returned to class.
Now they can finally say,
Love isn't forgotten in the past...

Decided to mix up things a little and write a short sad story, all the while keeping my rhyme.
