Twinkle Twinkle Silver Soul

April 25, 2015

Have you ever thanked the dear sun for it's service?

Or 'tis its light of no great importance?

I looked down from the heavens and watched life's little dance

The moon took her turn while the sun sulked away

I saw a silver haired man who's life might decay

I looked down from the heavens and watched life's little dance

A stumblin' he turned to me with his wish

He tired of dancing, yet still longed to exist

I looked down from the heavens and watched life's little dance

My little eye twinkled with certain delight

As I pulled his pure soul to rest with me that night

We looked down from the heavens and watched life's little dance
