Snape was a boy
Just training in magic
He was intent to learn
But soon things got drastic

That Potter boy, oh
Yes, he was a menace
He would step in the way
And just cause Snape messes

So he’d toss and he’d turn
All through the night
And plot against the boy
To get him back right

Years passed and school ended
James Potter was gone
Out of his worries
Or so he had thought

For out of the first years
Came one boy named Harry
He gave Snape a scare,
‘Cause his eyes looked like Lilly’s

So he’d toss and he’d turn
All through the night
And think of all ways to
Get Potter back right

The boy was a legend
Snape’s worst fears came true
Snape could ridicule Harry
But he had tricks, too

Snape would yell in distress
HIding secrets he kept
Like his father, the worst one
This Potter was adept

And Snape would toss and he’d turn
All through the night
And dream of the days when
Real danger wasn’t in sight

Snape had duties and
The boy despised him still
And all along it was planned that
The old man Snape would kill

Potter hated Snape deeply
Even more so, then
And Snape longed to tell
That he was really a friend

And he tossed and he turned
His life in his hands
And the dark lord was merciless
The snake killed him fast

But the Potter boy lingered
And collected his past
The story unfolded,
Snape was a good one, at last.

I have always been a Harry Potter fanatic, and our Literature class had to write ballads, so this is what my combination of fandoms and schoolwork looks like. :)

I love this balled! It's so sad and I love your choice of words! Keep it up!
