Travel Back

If I had another chance
I wouldn’t walk down that street
If I knew then what I know now
Our paths would never meet
If I had seen the oncoming storm
I’d have no choice but run
I hate so much I can’t travel back
And undo what’s been done

If I had another chance
I’d walk that route each day
If I knew then what I know now
I don’t think I’d run away
If I had seen the oncoming storm
I would have danced in the rain
I hate so much I can’t travel back
And live it all again

If I had another chance
I’d say what was left unsaid
If I knew then what I know now
I’d still wonder what is in your head
If I had seen the oncoming storm
That no umbrella could likely protect
I hate so much I can’t travel back
To the day I try to forget
