Once upon a time
In a land far away
I lived in a castle
All crumbling and gray
When I was fifteen
I thought I wanted a date
So I went to a club
To find my soulmate
I met a nice guy
He had cool boots and a car
But my parents said no-
He had a weird tattoo scar
So I turned to my godmother
(She's a fairy, it's true)
And asked her to help me
Find a more acceptable boo
She said I must sing
Some pleasant songs
Make friends with the animals
While she played mah-jongg
Oh I tried and I tried
So many songs did I sing
But all that I got
Was a lousy bee sting
God-ma said forget it
Music's not for you
Go out to the ball
And be sure to leave your shoe
I thought it was weird
But I got out my carriage
I left my heels on the dance floor
And hoped the next thing was marriage
Surely enough, the prince saw my shoe
He bent down to lift it
And present it to me
But sadly he sniffed it
And got a whiff of stink-y
When my god-ma found out
She sighed and she sighed
She said go take a nap
Then you might become a bride
She told me to doze
For at least a hundred years
So I put on my sleep mask
And plugs in my ears
Luckily for me
A prince came in a week
And even in my sleep
He thought I looked chic
He bent down to kiss me
Then I could awake
But I let out a big snore
So he faked a stomach-ache
Now my god-ma was angry
I had failed at this twice
I still couldn't sing
Or make friends with the mice
She locked me a in a tower
And made me grow out my hair
I looked out every hour
To see if a prince was standing there
After a few days went by
A noble man called to me
"Let down your hair-
I know we're meant to be"
So happy was I
I shook out my locks
I let out my braid
Thinking he was a real fox
The prince started to climb
He loved me, no doubt
But suddenly he fell
My weave had come out!
I felt terribly bad
So I opened my door
It was unlocked this whole time
Next to a ladder, what's more
I saw the prince was knocked out
And called nine-one-one
An ambulance came
It wasn't very fun
God-ma was furious
I really had shocked her
But it turned out alright
I met a cute doctor

Hilarious! That would be my life as a fairy tale character :) Cute doctor though mine would be old.
