My voice is numb, but you can hear me
My ears are def, but I can hear
My nose is immune to scent, and yet I can smell fear.
My hands cannot touch, yet I feel you all around
I’m not really here, but I’m standing on the ground
My feelings for you grow stronger, and yet I have no heart
All the pieces that make me are together, and yet I’m falling apart
My body races through the world, and yet I have no feet
I have many imperfections, but I’ll never admit defeat.
