In an ocean of black
there shines a light
It's joined by others
the darkness they fight
Thousands of candles
scatter the sky
The night is dark
for fire they cry
They start to fade
is dark to win?
Then to the east
the blackness dims
Rays of pink
shoot across the scene
The darkness recedes
what could this mean?
A ball of fire
drowns the night
Birds start to sing
where is the fight?
The light shines bright
the night has run
It flees to the west
the sun has won
