You stupid shell
Surrounding me-
"Protecting" me
Supposedly
Tampering with the clarity
Of my ability
To truly see
How life should really be.
Selfishly
Teaching me
To flee.
Confused and nowhere to be found
Never letting me stick around.
Because of you
Just wanting to get through
By not letting me keep true
To myself and what I do.
You are my shell
From hell.
