A flower growing high
Bursting forth from its shell
Leaving the comfort of the earth
To feel the sun’s warmth

Beware, for there are dangers
Of wind and fire
Ice and snow
That care for no little flower

Beautiful and free
Yet with firm roots in the ground
Cheerleading to the world
Look at me!

Beware, delicate flower
For there are those who wish
To take beauty from this world
And don’t care whom they break
