Too scared to know your own true feeling
You sit in the dark and stare at the ceiling
The world around you is alerting
People dying, people hurting
Can you ever be happy when your life is fated
To pin you to the mortality you created?
Trails of dirt and tears streak your face
It never would have worked in the first place.
You’re better off on your own
It seems you were born to live alone
You don’t need him! You aren’t lonely!
But he was my one… my only…
