Hell is going through Life without knowing Love

If the sunshine were sprinkles,
I’d put them in our milkshakes,
And we could watch them melt,
Pull out our crazy straws,
And race you to the first brain freeze.

If the sunrays were knives,
I’d cut you a slice of birthday cake,
Because it’s always someone's birthday,
And it's always nice to celebrate,
Even if it's just a party of two.

If the sun was a gumball,
It’d be well worth the 25 cents,
And I hope they have a second,
So I can prove my bubbles are bigger
Than the cashier's at Wal-Mart.

If gummy bears were people,
Then all those people that I smashed
Together as a kid would be kissing
In colors of yellows and reds;
We could be gummy bears.

If Oreos were a currency,
And milk a form of energy,
Then I’d be broke with nowhere
To go but to get more of each
So we can finally settle this tie.

If pennies were really thoughts
Then I’d owe a lot in your name,
And I would buy you bag of sunflower
Seeds so you have something to look
Forward to in the harvest moon.

If french-fries were swords
Then we'd seem less silly at every
Restaurant we ever went to
And had an argument settled by
Fierce and relentless duels.

If, and only if, you looked at me
Like the way you always look at him,
I’d make you milkshakes with sunshine,
Cut birthday cake with sunrays,
Make a galaxy with $4.75 in quarters,
Smash all the gummy bears together,
Spend my Oreos on milk so I can get to you,
Tell you how much you mean to me in pennies,
And lay my french-fry down, surrender to you.
