Like a Brilliant Star in The Night Sky

Your smile is like
A ray of sun shining out from behind the clouds
Like the sound of music, blasting loud
Like the smell of rain, fresh on the pavement over night
Like a baby bird taking his first flight
Like a love song made just for me
Like a bunch of kids running free
Like brilliant, bright stars, sparkling in the night sky
Your smile makes me happy and I don’t know why.

Your eyes are like
Two deep pools filled with the ocean blue
They are the rainbow’s most beautiful, colorful hue.
Like sprinkles on ice cream
Like cherries on cake
Like beautiful flowers; the most breathtaking scene
Like the sunset at the end of a movie on the screen
Like brilliant, bright stars, sparkling in the night sky
Your eyes make me happy and I don’t know why.

You are
The whip cream to my birthday cake
The dream from which I don’t wish to wake
Like a pair of doves singing softly, their tunes of love
Like angels floating high above
Like the swaying of trees, relaxing and serene
Like a piano melody, oh-so crisp and clean
Like the most brilliant, bright star, sparkling in the night sky
You make me so happy and I don’t know why.
