Individuality

This poem is all about me,
Just me and my individuality,
This comes from deep in my heart,
And I mean every single part.

I'm not afraid to say whats true,
My favorite color is bright blue,
I like to flash a random smile,
And I like to make people laugh awhile.

I like helping people when they are sad,
I like calming people when they are mad,
Sometimes I talk to myself,
My mom says it is bad for my health.

I like to draw and paint,
And trust me I ain't no saint,
I love God I think he's amazing,
When I go to church my heart is blazing.

Me and my parents don't get along,
But for my sister I gotta stay strong,
Sometimes I cry myself to sleep,
Sometimes I want to cut myself deep.

My best friends are all great,
Meeting them was pure fate,
They all like someone more than me,
Which causes my pain to reach insanity.

Sometimes I walk around with a frown,
Even though I wear make-up I look like a clown,
Sometimes I wanna break down and cry,
I may seem weird but I am incredibly shy.

I like the feeling when I have boyfriends,
They protect your heart from breaks and bends,
I can cry over a really stupid thing,
When I am alone I dance and sing.

I could write poems all day,
Its like they take the pain away,
I know I make lots of mistakes,
And I've been through quite a few heart breaks.

My parents act like I'm the worst child ever,
I guess they forgot unconditional love means forever,
When I'm around guys I am full of embarrassment,
Obama can suck it because I hate the government.

Well that's all you need to know for now,
And it's time for me to take my bow,
Don't forget to let your individuality shine through,
Let everybody you love, love you for you.
