The shattered remains of a broken heart
The dust in the wind, or an unneeded part
The sorrow or wonder in a child’s eyes
The hollow feeling after a loved one dies
The beaten and slaughtered from our past
The courage of our future that will last
The twinkle and gleam for a new tomorrow
The happiness remaining behind all our sorrow
The blood flowing through our veins
The one who endures all our hopes and pains
Someone who looks for a brand new day
We are all that person in every way
