Leonardo Da Vinci
Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity, and in cold weather becomes frozen, even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind.

My daddy loves me oh so much,
He tells me all the time.
He shows his love for me , through touch,
He shows me all the time.

I love my daddy oh so much,
And every night at ten
Daddy comes to say goodnight
And shows he loves me once again.

My daddy does this every night
And once he’s done with me
He says goodnight and tucks me in
Says “ Shhh!! Don’t wake mommy!”

My daddy’s done this every night
Since I turned 3-years-old
And now I’m 5 and Daddy loves me
Because I do what I am told.

My daddy loves me oh so much,
He tells me all the time.
He shows his love for me , through touch,
He shows me every night

This poem is a tribute to all the cildren who undergo sexual abuse. This poem is told in the child's point of view and I hope this raises the awareness of this raising trend.
