One day I will live like Perseus.
A human god. A hero. A myth.
I will slay Medusa and cut off her head.
Use it to save the land.
I know my mythology well for I adore it.
Possibly obsessed with it.
Maybe its because life was so unpredictable.
The gods would show themselves.
Maybe its because I wish I was there.
I wish I could be remembered as great.
Nowadays one cannot be a Perseus.
One cannot be a demigod.
I wish I could be remembered as such.
A legend to aspire to be.
Oh how I long to be a myth.
