~~Isn't it funny how the most important things in life aren't things?~~

Liquid glass rolls off my face.
I feel as though I'm a disgrace.

Your parents say that they will sue.
I should have died instead of you.

I can't remember the amount
Of endless beers, too high to count.

"You shouldn't drink and drive," they say,
But I can't take their pain away.

I have been broken down inside.
My soul is dead, so is my pride.

If only I had used my brain
And left the house while I was sane.

I should've drunk a Coke instead
Because then you would not be dead.

"You shouldn't drink and drive," they say,
But I can't take their pain away...

My dad and I were in a car accident when I was twelve. The other driver was a drunk eighteen-year-old. No one died in this accident, but this is where I got the idea to write this from. I decided to put myself in his shoes.
