My brother is a big boy now
And I am just a child.
I recall the days when we played for hours.
We were both so silly and wild.
But now he’s just too cool for me.
What did I do wrong?
Am I too weak to play his games
While he is big and strong?
So with my wonder I built up some courage
And I walked up to him.
“Bubba, I miss spending time together.
Can we play with LEGOs again?”
I waited so impatiently.
I was feeling some regret.
But then he took me to his room
And he reached under his bed.
He pulled out the LEGO box carefully
From the place where it had been hid
And we showed each other our biggest smiles
As we slowly opened the lid.
