"Quiet people have the loudest minds" -Stephen Hawking

Laying and lounging

In the cold crisp air,

Was Cleo the cat

With her soft silky hair

Smooth as hot chocolate

With whip cream on top,

Cleo went off

With a leap and a hop

She ventured off,

Through the forest alone

While not turning back

Even for home

Out in the wilderness

In the fluffy white snow,

Cleo the cat,

Oh where did you go?

We will mourn and remember

For as long as we roam

Cleo the cat

Will you ever come home?

Cleo the cat

In our hearts you will stay

Up in cat heaven

Far, far away

The author's comments:

This poem is about my cat Cleo. Cleo went missing last winter in the end of November 2018. She was such a sweet and pretty kitty, and we miss her greatly. So I wrote this poem as a tribute to Cleo after she disappeared. I hope people will realize that even if you lose something/someone, you can always remember them in your heart, and they are not gone forever.
