Ode to my friends
They care enough to try
To try and lift me up
When I feel that should cry
My friends are my support
Like the stars of the flag
They like me for me
Never to change
And never to leave
To this we’ll never toss
The ocean of trials ever coming
The journey we’ll make across
A tune we’ll never stop humming
To this I’ll say
I’ll never betray
I’ll keep them close
And cherish them most
