The whole idea of it makes me feel like....

i'm up on stage,
starring in a play,
dancing in a show,
singing my own special tune.
La-de-da-La-de-da-La-de-da.

I remember it like it was yesterday,
at two dressing up,
at four constantly singing,
at seven, i was in my firt show,
at nine started dancing school.
Ten, quit.
At eleven, ready, set, going to my future.

school, work, friends, boys.
I'm never home,
Ice skating, movies,
rollerjam, and more.
babysitting, dogwalking,
newspapers, and chores.
Overworked, overscheduled.
Too much, always out,
but never allowed to wear a pout.

May is here now, and soon comes June.
After my birthday, I'll really be out all day
I have independence now, and it's here to stay.
Either out all day, or in nder the weather.
I'm finally a teen, and it's so much better!
