I wish I had more time today,
to tell you all I had to say
but as the clock begins to wind down
I find myself spinning round and round.
I wish I had more time today,
to talk about the people who have been betrayed
but as we know the silence has been renamed
so here I am wishing away.
I wish I had more time today,
to think about all the choice that I have made
but as the day starts to fade
I realize things will never change.
I wish I had more time today,
to watch the sun fade away
but as the stars come out to play
I find myself sleeping away.
