Something needs out
I want to let it out my fingers
Through my pen
Onto the paper
But it's stuck

I know if I don't write it soon
It will come out my eyes
In salty waves
Or out my mouth
In harsh words

There is a story that needs to be told
But I can't find it
Maybe I'm looking too hard
Or maybe my groping feelings
Are making it shy

The world is looking like a giant lake
But I can only see the icy surface
And I know
My story's at the bottom
Deep
Where I can't reach it
