Golden eyes, glinting bright
Pawsteps falling, quick and light
Small ears twitching, hearing all
Striped shoulders standing, straight and tall
Fur lay flat, thick and long
Tyger striding, proud and strong
Like a moonbeam on the snow
Tyger trotting, fast and low
Black and orange, distinctive sheen
Tyger running, rarely seen
No one ever, save for I
Will ever hear the plaintive cry
Of prey’s ending life, by Tyger claw
Life fading fast, that’s what I saw
The mystic Tyger, bold and brave
Drags his prey into his cave
Unaware of me, what I have seen
And I sneak away, into the green

If you're wondering, this is your fellow GABber - the one that wrote Never and whose head plays host to Leo. I really like the last part with the hunt, but the one line "Of prey’s ending life, by Tyger claw" seemed too wordy to me, too many syllables. Other than that, j'aime bien.
