The smell of crispy, hot funnel cake.
The bright lights of the signs from the stores.
Children running to the rides, parents chasing after them.
The tram car going by saying,
“Watch the tram car, please. Watch the tram car, please.”
Over and over.
Arcades full of people winning games, collecting prizes.
Groups of friends on the benches laughing, chatting,
Enjoying the warm nights of summer.
