Shattered

The days go by, just like the pain in my forever shattered heart.

I see his face in my mind repeatidly. I think of him as my heroine, my own personal drug.

Even though he doesn't know it, he is The One. But will he ever know?

The days go by, just like the pain in my forever shattered heart.

I think and dream about him constantly. But I wonder, does he do the same?

Do I even cross his mind at all?

There's defitnely something there, well for me at least, I can feel it deep in my soul. But can he? Can he feel his heart jumping out his chest in the middle of the night like I do?

The days go by, just like the pain in my forever shattered heart.

This love is pain and suffering, but the question is does he feel it too. Is he willing to put his heart on the line?

Will me ever meet again? Will i ever touch his heart like i did once, ever again?

The days go by, just like the pain in my forever shattered heart.

For now there is nothing more to do than hope. Hope that love rules it all. Life, Meaning, Everything.

But until we do meet again, my heart shall continue to beat, but break day by day, until it shatters so far upon its breaking point, theres nothing left but millions of peices and memories of him.

The author's comments:
This poem is coming straight form my heart. Throughout our teenage years, everyone seems to go through many every day problems. But most of them are about love. Teenagers are mostly wrapped up in their hearts in this period of life. Always looking for that special someone, evidently their "Prince Charming." Me being one, well when I lost it after I found it, I copuld do nothing more than grab a blank peice of paper and run my pen across it, revealing the feelings locked inside my shattered heart.
