Don’t tell me to write a poem
For that is something I cannot do
No, don’t tell me to write a poem
No that’s something they didn’t tell Shel Silverstein to do
I mean really who tells the shoemaker to make a shoe
Whoever said a wood chuck could chuck wood was dead wrong
Maybe a woodchuck wasn’t born with a jaw strong
Maybe I wasn’t born with the ability to write a poem
So, um
No I will not write you a poem
