Twisting, turning, drifting down,

A small brown leaf

Hits the ground.


Once among the vast green boughs,

Autumn has forced its eternal vows.


Come to rest upon the Earth

Among the pines, its final birth.

I aspire to aid people in seeing the beauty of the Earth, even in its death.
