Writer's Block
I don’t like poetry, not at all
I don’t want to write any,
Rather be hit by a bowling ball!
I don’t like poetry, it makes my brain freeze.
My hands sit numb,
Like some sort of disease.
I don’t like poetry, it doesn’t make sense.
Hidden metaphors, confusing themes,
It’s just too intense.
I don’t like poetry, I’d rather not compose.
Poets sort of scare me,
lots of them were psycho!
I don’t like poetry, I’m not that deep.
I only go so far,
not willing to leap.
I don’t like poetry, not at all
But I’m writing some,
hoping I’ll be done by nightfall.
