This Feeling Between Us

At times I wonder if I make any sense,
But there’s no sense at all with feelings this tense.
No matter what I try to do,
I can’t help but be invisible to you.
There’s but one thing I need in life.
It’s nothing too big, too strenuous, too rife.
Please, at least, just give me your time.
Acknowledge me, I promise we’ll make it through the climb.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

I try my hardest to make you know.
All I can do is try to show,
How much I love you,
How much I need you.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

We’ve been through thick and thin,
But in time, we always end in a grin.
Can you not see what I see?
You make me feel like there’s nobody but me.
You make me happy, you make me smile.
I can see us together, travelling the miles.
We can make it til forever.
There will never be a never.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

I try my hardest to make you know.
All I can do is try to show,
How much I love you,
How much I need you.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

Everyone tells me it will just take time,
And I know that these feelings will not sublime.
But it hurts so bad to hold on for this long.
Then I see you with them, am I doing something wrong?
But I know in my heart we can make it through this mess,
As long as you’re willing to finally confess.
What you’ve been hiding for so very long
Has continued replaying on and on.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

I try my hardest to make you know.
All I can do is try to show,
How much I love you,
How much I need you.
This feeling between us cannot be denied.

I think this poem was really good. Whenever I try to rhyme the words, my poem loses the meaning I meant for it to have. You did a wonderful job at this poem, and at keeping the rhyming words meaningful and it didn't seem like you lost the feeling of the poem. Great job!! I loved this poem!
