Mismatched

I’m an empty vessel
Hollow and ringing
With good intention,
Craving to be filled
With your philosophy.

Your nimble poetry
Slips through my fingers
Like gossamer strings
Such fragile beauty
Such enigmatic grace

I long to take you apart
Reassemble your mind
Like a Rubik’s cube
But I think your
Colors will always be
Mismatched.

It's amazing! Your way the words is something to be envious of. This poem is so simple, yet each line resonates within me. It is so raw and real and shining with emotion. Beautifully written!
