Fly through the night,
Let love take its pledge.
Into the darkness and over the edge.
Whip past the trees,
Past hate and the war
and feel a new freedom
like never before.
Fall into the arms
of serenity's peace.
Into the darkness;
Love's sweet release.
Hold onto your family,
and never let go.
Into the darkness,
And then you will know;
How to fly through the night
and let love take its pledge.
Into the darkness
and over the edge.

The author's comments:
I wrote this when I was really upset. I was in New York with my grandma, and I missed my mom incredibly. So I wrote this poem to make myself fell better. It really helped to write my feelings down.
