this world we live in.

we know it is enormous,
yet it feels so small.
it is an amazing place to be,
but i want to get out right now.
i love it,
but dream of the day i get to live.
i am sad beyond reason,
but not sad enough to cry.
i am over joyed with my life,
but want to end it.
i know i am doing wrong,
but cannot change my ways.
i need to forgive,
but never even try.
i love inconditionally,
yet i put on a mask of hatred.
this world we live in.
when will i be set free from it?
