One Step Away

Step away from the unreal fantasy,
Good times and bad times, sweep them all away.
Do not be blinded by the dark, gray sea.
True to one’s own self, is all one should be,
Emerge from the heavy, paralyzed bay.
Step away from the unreal fantasy.
Teachers, sailors, whoever we may be,
Dive into the portal where all truths lay,
Do not be blinded by the dark, gray sea.
Battle the fog ’til all can be seen; we,
Too, should learn from true heroes because they
Step away from the unreal fantasy.
Search within you to find the naked key,
Only you can, to you the key will say,
Do not be blinded by the dark, gray sea.
Defeat all your fears, and strive to be free,
Be a truthful Prince, do not be dead clay.
Step away from the unreal fantasy.
Do not be blinded by the dark, gray sea.
