Murky Waters

Green waters
Welcome you to work,
A long day of fishing lies ahead,
But the water wasn’t always green,
It used to be a beautiful blue.
Then cities came and industries blossomed,
And pollution flooded the lake.
Now the sewage filled waters aren’t so welcoming,
But someday they will be back,
Telling of their story,
And welcoming Nature once again.
