A Single Star

A black sky,
A single star,
Reminds me of thoughts of you,
Times we laughed and times we cried,
On a single star,
I make a wish,
I'm wishing you were here,
Wishing I could still call us friends.
Through my window,
I see a star,
Blurry through the tears,
I doubt it'll work, but wish anyways,
I wish we were little again,
When things were so simple,
When the world wasn't so real and big.
