Memories
It glazes, twirling and dancing in the sunlight for the “I know”
Sprinkled through a memory that tries to remember,
It wanders, lost in the endless maze of the oceans
.. glamor dies… no longer shining…
Forgotten grains of lifeless...
Minerals… it perishes
…. And falls..
And..
Gone.

Memories are priceless. They allow us capture the good times and the bad times, reliving such experiences over and over again. As wonderful as this may seem though, memories fade; they slip away like does sand from the seams of our hands. This poem is a tribute to all those lost experiences shared with your loved ones at the dinner table or at the baseball game or at the movie theaters.
