Was it meant to be,
was it destiny,
is this the
impediment,
in my game?
Ego fly high,
up lift confidence,
after the match,
down it goes.
Cellophane,
pain hides with smile,
the bystanders,
know the truth.
Try again,
until victory,
to win back,
my destiny.
I might never meet
victory's kiss,
but I shall never
say 'hi' to rejection
again.
