I’m screaming at you
The tears that fall
From my red eyes
Do you see them?
No
You see
What you wish
And not what is there
You see
A girl
Full of smiles
And laughter
And oodles of fun
Not what is there
Her tears
Her heartache
Her pain
That’s what’s there
No sunshine
No rainbows
But clouds
Rain - - lightning
A mere mimicry of her soul
You think that you
Understand
You think that you
Know how she feels
But - -
Do you hear me screaming?
