Charlie
When it comes to dogs,
Everyone thinks of Marley.
But if you’ve read my blog,
You’d know that my dog’s name is Charlie.
His fur is milk,
Covered with speckled brown spots.
He has texture as soft as silk.
That is, when it isn’t in knots.
He jumps on my bed
To wake me up in the morning.
And even though he sheds,
To me, he never seems boring.
We got him from Tennessee.
And yes, he is a rescue.
He is who other dogs want to be;
That’s because he’ll never forget you.
When he speaks, he is loud.
Like a king, he is royal.
But he makes me really proud,
Because I have never met a creature more loyal.
