The Start of Spring
The cold snow glistens and sparkles
From the waking spring sun
We pop our heads out from under a
blanket of snow
the warm sun welcomes us back
to our wondrous world
We sprout
more
and more
and more
Until our pearly pink petals
elevate from the snow
We yawn and stretch our leafs
ready for the morning

we wait
and wait
and wait
For spring to fully unfold
