I was home.
I stepped through my front door,
Feeling the cold night against my face
I walked down the dimly lit street
Breathing in and out, in and out
Then I heard his
Steps quicken as I turned the corner.
I saw him coming
Running as fast as possible.

Running as fast as possible,
I saw him coming.
Steps quicken as I turned the corner,
Then I heard his
Breathing in and out, in and out.
I walked down the dimly lit street
Feeling the cold night against my face
I stepped through my front door,
I was home.
