Ghosts
Forgotten and unknown.
With souls
Scattered and unsewn.
Haunted in drab blank grey,
Of wisps,
Lost in the world; stray.
With no glory, they roam.
Sadly,
Searching for a home.
In a dark, silent scream,
Fearsome,
Caught in a bleak dream.
Brilliant light shuns them,
Judging,
Hoping they succumb.
Drowned out; not at all missed,
Nothing,
Is how they exist.
But is this tragic tale,
Only
That of a grim ghost?
