When you’re a puppet like a voodoo
A gentle poke is all you desire.

There comes a time to make your debut.
Step up, speak clear and try to inspire,
But no one wants to believe you

When your plans always seem to fall through
It is vital to know when to retire.
The good men are far and few

Bad friends tend to misconstrue;
They call you a liar.
No one wants to believe you:
The good men are far and few.
