Life is what happens when you're busy making plans.

He would smile and saw
I would giggle and talk
He would drill holes
And I would count blocks
But we’d be in the same ring,
Just him and me
He’d weave the rope and tie it down,
While I’d wait for my new wood throne
I’d sit myself down
And he’d hold my hands
On the sturdy rope you see
He’d make me fly
And I’d say “Not too high”
But what a grand time it was
We’d spend our days this way
Not playing games
Or watching T.V
Just enjoying the company

Very nice! I disagree with EdytD. I don't think you need to add anything to it. It's already perfect the way it is. :) Keep writing

great! the only thing I would do is add one last line - enjoying the company of _________ - it could be as simple as "of ea. other" or "just enjoying ea

I'd love if you looked at my poetry. Thanks! :D

I love this poem. Def makes you think about your childhood and remember those good ole' days of playing on the playground with your best friend.
